about me

I am a freelance photographer doing commercial photography in Oslo, Norway. I also work as a teacher at Bilder Nordic School of Photography. The contents of this website reflect the different places I've visited - and the various people I've met during my work and spare time, and is in no way intended as a work portfolio.
The photos have been featured in various magazines and newspapers. Some are press images that have been shot for music artists, film distributors, and event organizers - or for contractor and real estate use.

The images have been placed here to share them with my family, friends, and my students. One might refer to it as some kind of photoblog, but to be honest I don't post images often enough for it to be called that. The images are in no particular order, but they tend to get older as you progress further into the slideshow sequence.

Some of these images were shot using compact and film cameras, and were not necessarily shot with a dSLR.
SLR models used: Canon EOS-3, EOS-1D/1D Mk II N/Mk III, EOS 300D/20D/30D/40D/7D and EOS 5D.
Compact cameras: Canon PowerShot A70 and PowerShot G9, Fujifilm FinePix S7000.

I get a lot of questions from people asking if some of the images are 'HDR'. All images have been photoshopped to a certain degree - but there are no image composites - and no: there are no HDR tonemapped photos featured here.
